Polar Picks up Top Award for “Website: Marketing & Creative” Category
Polar Creative has collected another accolade at the prestigious Essex Digital Awards
The fourth Essex Digital Awards took place on 18 May, and Polar Creative is proud to have been awarded the Gold Award in the “Website: Marketing & Creative” for the second year in succession. This was a proud moment for company founder Lee Sturgess, and the recognition served as a fine vindication for the hard work that he and his team put in all year round to not only achieve the top spot but to retain it in an increasingly crowded and competitive marketplace.
About the EDAs
The Essex Digital Awards were launched back in 2014 to showcase the remarkable work that takes place in the digital arena across the county. This year’s event took place in the stately setting of Boreham House, just outside Chelmsford, and was attended by hundreds of guests, representing a variety of sectors. The awards were presented by BBC sports journalist and presenter Robin Bailey, along with special guests from sponsors Nimbus Hosting, Freelance SEO Essex, Barclays Bank, Heart Essex and Essex Employment & Skills Board.
Polar Creative was not the only company to receive recognition for its contribution to the digital economy in Essex. A total of 17 other awards were presented, in categories ranging from video blogging and mobile technology to business blogs and sports & leisure. For the first time, there were also two special awards – a “People’s Choice” award, which went to the Green Apron cookery school in Coggeshall, and a “Spirit of Essex” award, which was presented to Wilkins Jam for the remarkable global exposure their range of jams brings to the county.
Looking to the future
As the digital landscape develops with every passing year, so this event similarly gets bigger and better. Polar Creative is proud of its position at the heart of digital technology in Essex and is already looking forward to the 2018 EDAs.
